The Sponsorship Chair will approach (either on their own or with a committee) both existing and new businesses each summer requesting sponsorship of the Club for the following season.
Once established, sponsorship money will be divided equally between the leagues and bonspiels.
The following leagues may each request up to $450 per year, submitting a budget in advance and receipts after payment.
- Senior Men’s,
- Day Ladies,
- Open Competitive,
- TUESday Open,
- Evening Ladies,
- Mixed Competitive,
- Men’s Evening,
- Social Mixed.
The following leagues may each request up to $300 per year, submitting a budget in advance and receipts after payment.
- Mixed Doubles
- AIL
Convenors of multi-day bonspiels may request up to $1000 with submission of a budget in advance and receipts after payment. If there are not 2 full draws, money available will be prorated based on number of players.
Convenors of single day bonspiels may request up to $800 with submission of a budget in advance and receipts after payment. If there are not 2 full draws, money available will be prorated based on number of players.
Bonspiel convenors may choose to supplement their sponsorship by approaching not-current businesses personally. Sponsorship Chair will prepare a formal letter if required.
Bonspiel financial report and receipts are to be submitted to the Treasurer 3 days after the event, with an electronic copy of the financial report also sent to the Bonspiel & Special Events Chair.
If prizes will be bought, please purchase from our current sponsors whenever possible and thank them for their sponsorship of the Club when doing so. It is important that these businesses know that their sponsorship is recognized and appreciated by our members.
